We are used to all our beautifully wild, natural pine growth up here but Georgia, when it came to pine trees, was nothing but row after row after row of planted pine trees (loblollies?). We have rows of corn up here. They have rows of pines down there.

I saw surprisingly little in the way of political signs. I guess when you’re preaching to the choir it’s to be expected. But this took the cake. He REALLY wanted you to know to whom he held allegiance.

Who knew? Usually there are signs “Welcome to this State” or the GPS will say, “Welcome to this State”. But nope, I apparently slipped in under the radar and didn’t realize it.
I am now on my way to the Gulf of Mexico and leaving the Atlantic coast in my rearview mirror!

Ever since I have heard the town name of “Choptank, MD” where Becca & Mike live, I have loved to say it. “Choptank, choptank, choptank”. I could say it all day long. And then I came across “South Choppy” which almost usurped the title from Choptank but not quite. Still, it’s got something to it, “South Choppy, south choppy, south choppy”.

I have no idea what this is in regard to. Maybe a half-height property fence? Dunno, but anything that keeps the alligators at bay has my vote.
